1. Attached is one unit from Bloomfield’s seventh grade language arts curriculum. I was involved in the curriculum writing process over the course of two summers. We ensured that our products were aligned with state and national standards. Additionally, we used enduring understandings and essential questions in each unit to foster higher order thinking skills. Our curriculum is located on the district’s website so that parents and community members can view it electronically.
2. This demonstrates knowledge and understanding and application of what I learned in EDU 545. It also shows awareness of use of appropriate age/interest level texts and concepts.
