Welcome to my e-portfolio. I have completed all coursework towards my MS in Educational Technology through
Eastern
Connecticut
State
University
. I will graduate in May, 2008 with a 4.0 GPA. This portfolio represents the culmination of my studies. My personal focus throughout the coursework has been Data-Driven Decision Making and 21st Century Learning. I hope to be able to work with districts and collaborate with instructional staff to demonstrate effective use of data in making instructional and institutional decisions.
| Currently I teach 7th grade Language Arts at Carmen Arace Middle School in Bloomfield, CT. My passion has been to integrate technology into the curriculum in order to provide my students with the 21st century skills needed to succeed in a global community. Through the IT Project Based model; I have led my students to high levels of critical thinking using: blogs, threaded discussions, and web based research, communications and presentations. I believe in giving my students all of the resources available to them to address and surpass NCTE and ISTE/NETS standards. |
